Watch your spirit, not your mind. Good advice! Beyond that, what do you then watch? Chickadee? Downy? What I wonder set those to wing? Can it be observed?
Baird, Thank's for the re-minder. I remember a time when i would wake up with a variety of negative thoughts and dispel them by getting grounded in my body through breathing, etc...
I don't know many Person E's. With so many negative things happening in the now , ( sparing you the list), it takes focus and discipline to enjoy some of the things that are right up under our noses. If I'm not in pain and still breathing, I'm having a good day. Thank you for this...
Hey Mark. Yes, pain makes the whole positivity thing quite difficult. Sometimes an escape into happy past or future scenarios is a good move. Take care.
Thanks Neil. You certainly demonstrate a talent for being in the now with your nature walks and observations and photography. Walking meditation at its best!
Succinct and useful advice for everyday living.

Excellent post Baird. I like the emphasis on awareness of the present moment.
You put this perfectly: "Be continuously AWARE/mindful of what time zone your thoughts are occupying, and whether they are positive or negative."
I like how you mention time zone. Excellent.
