Six paths to happiness
There are lots of books and articles coming out on the topic of happiness these days. Is this because more people are feeling less happy these days?
Here are six WANT-aligned prescriptions for boosting your well-being. Like most advice, these are easy to say and harder to do with intention, but they are worthy of your consideration:
Pursue/get what you WANT
WANT (appreciate/savor) what you’ve already got [turns out the balance between #1 and #2 is very important]
Give people what they WANT [the balance between #1 and #3 is pretty important too]
Engage in activities you WANT to do (ones you are good at and/or interested in)
Spend time with people who want you to be who you WANT to be
Spend time in environments that expect you to be who you WANT to be
Rx: Practice one of these strategies every day for a week
